Camera Not Working Discord

As I said in the title.
Stereo Mix will not work at all in Discord anymore. I have not changed ANY drivers or added any programs, and all of a sudden when I change Discord to Stereo Mix, it will only pick up my Microphone still.
I've even tried changing my default driver and default communication device were both Stereo Mix and set it in Discord it STILL only captures my microphone..
Any help to get this fixed would be great!
Edit: I've now tried disabling my microphone and going into Discord with only Stereo Mix and it will not capture any sound whatsoever.

Ever need to record something on your computer exactly as it comes out of your speakers? Enabling “Stereo Mix” will let you do exactly that, and here’s how to do it.
Nowadays, most sound cards have the ability to record whatever is being output. The only hang-up is accessing that recording channel, which can be done rather easily.
Enable Stereo Mix
Go down to the audio icon in your system tray, right-click it, and go to “Recording Devices” to open up the proper settings pane.
In the pane, right-click on a blank area, and make sure both “View Disabled Devices” and “View Disconnected Devices” options are checked. You should see a “Stereo Mix” option appear.

Right-click on “Stereo Mix” and click “Enable” to be able to use it.
I Still Don’t See It…
In some cases, your audio chipset drivers aren’t helping your cause. Most likely, this is because they’re outdated. In other instances, however, it’s because the newest Windows drivers for your chipset don’t support this feature. This was the case on my Asus Eee PC (a 1000HE), but I got around the issue by downloading and installing the older Windows XP/Vista drivers for my audio chipset. As always, before changing your drivers, make sure create a system restore point in case things don’t go as planned.
How Do I Use This?
With “Stereo Mix” enabled, you can open up your favorite recording program and select that instead of your microphone before you record. If you don’t see the option, or your program doesn’t give you the ability to change the recording device, you can disable or unplug your microphone and make “Stereo Mix” the default recording device.
This works well for when you want to capture audio for a screen-sharing session, or record audio from streaming sources–such as live web-casts–that don’t necessarily allow you to download content immediately. In order to do that, you’d open up your audio recording application of choice (like Audacity), and find the option for microphone input. Select Stereo Mix as your input (if it isn’t already), be sure other recording devices are muted or disabled, and click record.

If you haven't already you need to activate your sound card by plugging a device (headphones will work) into the speaker jack (usually the green one). HDMI sound doesn't work with Stereo Mix for me. Then activate your Realtek Speakers playback device. Then your Stereo Mix will pick up your desktop sound and you will see the green bars bouncing up and down.
I'm not using any HDMI cables on my PC at least I don't think so..I am using a DVI cable from my monitor to my graphics card, prior to this I had a VGA cable from my monitor going to the back of my PC.
My computer speakers are connected to the headphone jack at the back of my PC, this is how I used to have it when stereo mixed once worked.
For example, Speakers plugged into the back of PC(green jack) and then my headphones go into my speakers.
The only thing I remember changing would be the VGA cable for a DVI cable for the monitor.
Also when doing Step 1- troubleshooting at the end it says Generic Audio driver with a yellow hazard sign.
I have added Stereo Mix to my recording devices on my laptop running Windows 7 after I have installed the driver for my soundcard (the sound was working until then with the driver from Microsoft, but there was no Stereo Mix).
Trying to record Skype calls I found that some people recommend Stereo Mix in combination with Audacity.
The present question is more limited, (and in fact I do not want to know how to record Skype) I just want to know here a few things about this device:
I can record sounds that are played on the computer - and they are captured it looks like from the soundcard, as if by a virtual microphone. So, is this what Stereo Mix is meant as? A virtual microphone? Does it have settings of some kind? - can other inputs be added to it (similar to the aggregate device in Mac) so that, for example, when it is set as input device for an application, to capture both the 'internal' sounds and the real mic?

'Stereo Mix' is the name given to the output stream (presented as a virtual audio device) after all channels have been combined.
It's a mix of all the channels, and is sometimes referred to (in the past anyway) as 'What you hear'.
There's usually very little/nothing you can configure about it because it's only job is to present the mixed channels. How much you can configure depends on what was included in the sound adapter driver you're using (as drivers a different, just like sound cards).
If you turn on a Mic's monitor in the recording devices panel (usually by unmuting it, or by enabling 'Listen to this device' - again, depends on the driver being used), so that your voice comes out of the speakers, then it will be included in the Stereo Mix stream.

'Stereo Mix' allows you to make a recording of everything coming out of your computer's audio. So if you were listening to music on your headphones and you were talking into your mic at the same time, you could record both of those at once by utilizing 'Stereo Mix'.
In a recording application such as Audacity, you would set your source to be Stereo Mix instead of just your microphone.

Stereo Mix is believed to take all the microphones and when you talk you will hear yourself back from the stereo mix.
